Casa do Brasil presents

An Evening with
Susana Balbo Wines

For one evening, our cellar turns to Mendoza. Join us for a four-course dinner poured alongside the wines of Susana Balbo, a Decanter Hall of Fame winemaker and the first woman in Argentina to earn a degree in enology. Her estate sits in Agrelo, at the foot of the Andes, with vineyard plots reaching into the Uco Valley. Each course is built around the wine poured beside it.

From Agrelo, Mendoza

Susana Balbo graduated from Don Bosco University in nineteen eighty-one, the first woman in Argentina to hold a degree in enology. She spent two decades consulting for wineries across Argentina and abroad before building her own estate in Agrelo, in the Luján de Cuyo district of Mendoza. She has since served three terms as president of Wines of Argentina and been named to the Decanter Hall of Fame. Four of her wines will be poured over the course of the night, from the Signature range through the estate flagship.
